Welcome.

Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene is a multicultural community of ordinary people who are committed to following Jesus together. We follow Jesus because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the only way to know God.

We are not committed to being famous or flashy or big. We are committed to worshiping Jesus our Lord together. We are committed to studying the Christian Scriptures together. We are committed to encouraging and helping one another in this life of following Jesus. We are committed to helping others to connect with Jesus and his love.

We encourage our members to use their gifts to engage with the world. Members are involved with a diversity of ministries, including (but not limited to) Help Portrait, Operation Christmas Child, Faith House, Nazarene Missions International, small group Bible studies and local food pantries. We sing contemporary worship music, an occasional hymn and center our services around the Scriptures. We eat together and laugh together, have fun together and serve together. Whether you are a committed Jesus follower or just curious, we invite you to join us.

We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are inspired by God and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that humanity has a sin problem and needs salvation.
We believe that Jesus has provided atonement for sin; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and made new and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be made holy through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

 WVCN’s History.

WVCN - Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene, located in the heart of Orange County New York, organized for its first service on December 5, 1965, in the basement of Tom & Mildred Crawford's home on Claire Ann Drive (just around the corner from our current location on State Route 94 N).

In those early years, names like Crawford, Vealey, Stark, Long, Hogancamp, Ryan, Thayer, Johnson - all became synonymous with this young, upstart church.

The first official pastor, Rev. Wylie Rudolph, came for just under a year before returning to Eastern Nazarene College in 1966. But soon after the church saw regular pastoral assignments:

John Borgal, 1977-1979
Gary Wilson, 1979-1980
