 Katherine
Durante was born and raised in
Rockland County, NY with Spanish as her first language and English to follow.
She received her education through Catholic schools for 13 years; and
afterwards, College studies were focused on Childhood Psychology/Elementary
Education.
Kat served in the United States Army Reserve, where she received training as a
Combat Medic and a Respiratory Specialist in San Antonio, TX; and later received
licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She was in the business of
‘saving lives’ in various HealthCare settings for about 15 years, in 4 states.
After surrendering her life to Jesus, the Lord later led Chris and Kat to the
Nazarene Church, prior to their marriage; and there she began serving in
ministry. Experiences in ministry have included: Church Board Secretary, Church
Worship Band, Youth Group, Chris’ Music Ministry, Coffee House Ministry,
Teaching Pre-School at WVCN, and now currently as Minister to Families with
Children, at WVCN.
Through a blessed journey alongside her husband Pastor Chris and daughter
Gabriella, she’s a soldier in GOD’s Army, dedicated to feeding His little Lambs
during the most formative years of development.
